About Me
I didn’t take the typical designer path. With my first love being fashion, before working as an interior designer in Manhattan Beach, I studied in the halls of the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in the heart of the city. There, I soaked up everything about fashion and aesthetic design, from complementary and bold colors to using contrasting fabrics to using silhouettes to transform materials and spaces. My FIDM degree gave me something that many interior designers lack: I learned to think about how things move, how they drape, how they catch light, and much more. With this knowledge, I aim to make rooms that feel alive rather than staged, spaces that seem to shift and breathe with their inhabitants.
Before landing my current role as a Manhattan Beach interior designer at 5blox, my professional path took several turns. I gained invaluable experience as a business owner, served as a styling associate, and mastered the intricacies of production management. These diverse roles have shaped my unique approach to client relationships and project execution. The precision required in fashion production schedules translates remarkably well to coordinating contractors and material deliveries for home renovations and design.
What truly distinguishes my approach to design from the competition is my visionary ability. With my diverse array of experience, I see an empty room or blank walls as a canvas of what could be – and, as your interior designer in Manhattan Beach and the wider Los Angeles area, it’s your tastes and personality that serve as the materials to help transform ordinary spaces into unique expressions of personal style.
